Radar, motion scanner, same thing, right? The first Alien: Isolation title launched wayyyy back in 2014 (our PS4/Xbox One review here), and now Sega and studio Creative Assembly are hard at work on a sequel! With the relative increase in processing and technology, Alien: Isolation 2 is looking pretty darn amazing and scary already based on the first batch of screens and the “Last Chance” reveal trailer.
The title will not be a direct follow-up to the first title and will apparently feature a new setting, original story and a different protagonist, though details are sparse right now.
There’s also no release date as of yet, but see the announcement and media below and feel free to wishlist it on the PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and the Switch 2 soon as well.
Alien: Isolation 2 Reveal Trailer | Last Chance
Alien: Isolation 2 screens:
Creative Assembly and SEGA of America officially announced survival horror game Alien: Isolation 2. The next chapter in the Alien: Isolation series, Alien: Isolation 2 will bring players face-to-face once more with cinema’s deadliest killer: Alien’s Xenomorph. With a brand-new setting, story and protagonist, players will embrace a whole new adventure, while experiencing the same deadly tension which established the original game as the ultimate survival-horror experience.
On a remote, storm-ravaged colony-world, players will endure the elements as they navigate the planet’s surface, and explore the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station. It’s a new hunting-ground for the Alien, forcing players to improvise and develop new tools, techniques and tactics to survive the deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
Alien: Isolation 2 is now available to wishlist on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Nintendo Switch 2 wishlist to follow soon.
