After we had several updates covering the Ark’s idol scene in the form of the story of the pop group TT Star, it seems Goddess of Victory: NIKKE isn’t quite ready to stray from telling tales of Tetra, the company responsible for entertainment in the Ark.
On June 11th, the next update for the sci-fi RPG Shooter title will release a brand new event dubbed “Ark Ranger” which focuses on Ark Ranger Black, a member of a quintet known as the Ark Rangers, a popular Tokusatsu show in the Ark. While fame brings comfort and recognition, Ark Ranger Black seeks to make a real difference and hopes to truly become a hero in the home she knows and loves.
This update will also bring 2 new skins for previously released units. The first is for Moran, member of the Underworld Queen, a squad of NIKKE which consists of the leaders of three underworld groups which tries to keep order in the Outer Rim. Moran: King of Flowers will try to show the more sultry side of the member who is generally known as a kind and benevolent woman. The second new costume is for the recently released E.H.. Formerly the heir of Elysion, she gave up her birthright in hopes of making the Outer Rim a better place. E.H. Junkyard Vanguard, despite its grimey sounding name, has the former heir dressing in a suit, but an oddly revealing one.
In addition to the release of Ark Ranger Black to the summoning pool, the game is looking to gear up for the summer, offering players another opportunity to recruit limited release summer units from the past. This includes Mary: Bay Goddess, Anis: Sparking Summer, Helm: Aquamarine, Rosanna: Chic Ocean, Neon: Blue Ocean and Sakura: Bloom in Summer. I certainly fear for the Advanced Recruit Tickets and gem stores of the players who missed out on these seasonal units.
This latest update of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is set to go live on June 11th and will also include a new mini game as well as several quality of life fixes. Details of what you can expect from this update can be found in the trailer linked below.
