Tune into for a new PlayStation State of Play event on June 2nd

The summer gaming event season is definitely kicking off, so Sony is tossing their hat into the ring with a timely new PlayStation State of Play livestream event set for June 2nd, 2026 at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET.

Instead of being a complete mystery, Sony has revealed that the stream will be a whopping 60 minutes and feature a look at Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine, along with various other updates, announcements, gameplay reveals and surprises we’re sure.

State of Play returns Tuesday, June 2 with more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world.

To kick things off, you’ll get a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac Games will share more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details. This all-new take on the comic book legend launches on PS5 September 15.
