Pokémon Go Fest Copenhagen will get support from the LEGO Group

Pokémon and LEGO aren’t exactly strangers, as the two recently teamed up to release a trio of sets featuring iconic characters such as Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. Well it seems the partnership is expanding to video games…

I’m sure most of you probably thought you would get a mainline game with LEGO visuals, but this collaboration is actually for the Pokémon Go Fest set to take place in Copenhagen this June. From June 12th to the 14th, Pokémon Go trainers can visit Fælledparken park in Copenhagen, Denmark to partake in capturing creatures in Niantic’s location based title.

The LEGO partnership will see a special LEGO Play Zone featuring activities, and displays. The two LEGO Stores in the city (København  and Tivoli Gardens) will be converted into themed Pokéstops and will offer themed digital stickers, in-store activities and even giveaways. There will also be a LEGO x Pokémon GO themed Stamp Rally.

For full details of the LEGO activations at Pokémon Go Fest Copenhagen please visit this news post on the Pokémon Go website.

Pokémon Go is available now on iOS, Android and Galaxy Store.
