That’s a pretty impressive accomplishment from a studio that has only put out one title, however the studio is composed of veterans of fighting games development and they were smart to leverage player feedback via a series of betas. Post launch, Quarter Up remained receptive to consumer feedback even adjusting the pricing of the character skin DLC and even adding additional content to the game’s Deluxe Edition. The game is set to make an appearance at the upcoming EVO Las Vegas, so with over 1 million players, perhaps this newcomer on the scene can see a competitor turnout that could be comparable to genre titans like Street Fighter or Tekken. One can only hope!
