Espionage, Fancy Cars, Beautiful Women, these are the things many people associate with a James Bond project, but one thing that is intrinsic to the platform is an opening theme inspired by the title of the project. Well IO Interactive’s multi-platform video game will be no exception and 007 fans everywhere will be able to experience what will be serenading you when you begin your latest adventure when the game comes out on May 27th, 2026.
The song first light will be composted by someone who will be quite familiar to long time fans. David Arnold worked on the franchise during the Brosnan and early Craig Era films and First Light will mark his return franchise since 2010’s GoldenEye 007 title which was published by Activision. Internationally renowned singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will be providing the vocals on the track. The song is currently available to stream on various streaming platforms linked here.
However if you want both an audio and visual experience, IO Interactive will be debuting the game’s intro sequence tomorrow on a special live stream set to air at 12pm PT/3pm ET/ 8pm BT.
007 First Light will release on May 27th on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Switch 2. All copies of the title will include the contents of the deluxe edition with digital pre-orders getting access to the title 24 hours before physical purchasers.
