Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate is officially dropping on July 15th and during the stream the studio had a lot to say about the new content and some of the core game changes that are in the works. We’re talking buildcrafting stuff, armor changes, gear tiering, focused gear and artifact mods, the new weapon systems and more. As for The Edge of Fate itself, even though we haven’t seen too much in the way of plot or story, the developer insight slice of video covers new destination Kepler with the dungeon-like location and Metroidvania destination-specific abilities. Today, Destiny 2 developers hosted a livestream where they discussed in detail upcoming core game changes coming alongside The Edge of Fate expansion on July 15. The team discussed buildcrafting with details on Armor 3.0, gear tiering, focused gear and artifact mods, and new weapon systems coming alongside the new expansion, which will be available to all players.
At the top of the stream, a new developer insight video showcased the mysteries of Kepler, where the team talked more about the new dungeon-like location Guardians will explore with new destination-specific abilities in The Edge of Fate.
