Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Pok?mon Scarlet & Violet Edition asks you to choose your console again

Special Edition consoles releasing coinciding large releases is like peanut butter and jelly. It squeezes extra profits from game specula?collectors and lets the stragglers finally grab a console all because it has a different paint job than the model they have long ignored. Well there?s no bigger release than a Pok?mon and the venerated monster collection title will be getting it?s 3rd special edition Switch, this time it?s gracing the OLED model.

This special edition console?s backplate will be adorned with the 3 starter Pok?mon players for the games (Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly) along with the logos of some of the places you will visit during your time in the Paldea region. The Joy-Cons bear the logos of the schools, Naranja Academy and Uva Academy as well as the color which represent the version it appears in. The dock will feature the legendary Pok?mon Koraidon and Miraidon, again in Scarlet and Violet tint.

The OLED model will feature the standard spec that other editions have, 7 inch OLED Screen, 64gb internal memory, a Dock with a built-in LAN port for smoother wired online play. This model will be available at the My Nintendo Shop as well as select retailers for $359.99 on November 4th, plenty of time to prepare for Pok?mon Scarlet & Violet Edition which will release on November 18th.

A new adventure is about to unfold! On Nov. 4, the Nintendo Switch ? OLED Model: Pok?mon Scarlet & Violet Edition system will be available at select stores, featuring art inspired by the upcoming Pok?mon Scarlet and Pok?mon Violet games (sold separately). The Legendary Pok?mon Koraidon and Miraidon are featured on the glossy front side of the white system?s dock, and a design inspired by the series? iconic Pok? Ball is featured on the back. The back of the system itself is adorned with special illustrations of the three Pok?mon you can choose as your first partners in the game ? Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly ? along with illustrations of symbols players may recognize as they journey through the games. The Joy-Con controllers, which match the main colors of Pok?mon Scarlet and Pok?mon Violet, feature the school emblems of the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy that appear in the respective games.

Nintendo Switch ? OLED Model features a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port (LAN cable sold separately), 64 GB of internal storage, a portion of which is reserved for use by the system, and enhanced audio in handheld and tabletop mode. The Nintendo Switch ? OLED Model system can be played in three modes: TV mode, played on a TV while the system is docked; handheld mode, when the Joy-Con controllers are attached for portable play; and tabletop mode for on-the-go multiplayer gaming sessions.

The Nintendo Switch ? OLED Model: Pok?mon Scarlet & Violet Edition system will be available in stores and in the My Nintendo Store at a suggested retail price of $359.99. Pok?mon Scarlet and Pok?mon Violet, the latest chapters in the Pok?mon series, launch for the Nintendo Switch family of systems on Nov. 18 at a suggested retail price of $59.99 each, and are now available for pre-order at select retailers, in the My Nintendo Store and in Nintendo eShop. Pok?mon Scarlet and Pok?mon Violet Double Pack will also be available as a packaged version or as a digital downloadable version at a suggested retail price of $119.99, and will include both Pok?mon Scarlet and Pok?mon Violet, as well as additional in-game bonuses to help players on their Pok?mon Trainer journey.
