Sony Interactive Entertainment acquires Housemarque

Sony earlier today officially announced that they have tied the knot with Finnish developer Housemarque. The studio was most recently best known for several PlayStation exclusive console releases over the years, from Super Stardust HD for the PlayStation 3 through Returnal for the PS5. They also were responsible for many high profile, well-regarded projects from the mid ’90s for the Commodore Amiga and have quite the development history over the decades. Needless to say it sounds like a meaningful acquisition.
