Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King coming to consoles, PC in October

Kinda out of nowhere, the 16-bit versions of the classic Aladdin and the Lion King games are getting official re-releases thanks to Nighthawk Interactive and Digital Eclipse.

The collection of updated titles appear to be sourced from all of the previously available versions including the Genesis, SNES, Game Boy and Super Game Boy — which is likely a great choice for fans. There will be some enhancements and extras all around, including upscaled visuals, filters, control options, an interactive game viewer, a cheat code interface and more.

See the screens and announcement trailer below, along with the press release. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King will launch on October 29th, 2019 for $29.99.
