Microsoft officially announces the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition console

As has been rumored for quite some time now, Microsoft yesterday made the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition console official.

For who who want to save a few dollars and have no need for a 4K UHD Blu-ray drive, the 1TB Xbox One S All-Digital Edition console will be an option soon when it launches on May 7th, 2019 for $249.99. That price point puts it around $50 less than the SKU with a drive, although surely we’ll see much cheaper deals at one point.

The hardware looks nearly identical to the Xbox One S, minus the drive bay as seen above. The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will include full downloads of Sea of Thieves, Minecraft and Forza Horizon 3 along with some sort of Xbox Game Pass trial.
