There must have been a considerable amount of pent up demand for the oft-delayed Kingdom Hearts III, because since launch, sales have been extremely brisk according to Square Enix.

Brisk in this context meaning shipping 5 million units worldwide, making it the fastest selling entry in the franchise thus far. Congrats to Square Enix and Disney!
