InXile Entertainment has announced that thanks to the successful Kickstarter initiatives the release for The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep has been locked for next week on September 18th, 2018 for the PC at just under $35. They even released a new launch trailer to celebrate.
Fear not PS4 and Xbox One players, the console version is still in development, so check back later for more info on those versions. The Mac/Linux releases are coming soon as well apparently.

Fans have been waiting for a new installment of this classic role-playing adventure for 30 years, and in just five days, The Bard?s Tale IV: Barrows Deep will arrive! inXile is pleased to announce that the second achievement in The Bard?s Tale IV Wishlist Initiative has been unlocked, meaning the game will release on Windows PC for $34.99 (down from $39.99) on Sept. 18. With the price set, pre-order options are now available on Steam, GOG.com and Humble.
