Shenmue I & II launching for PS4, Xbox One, PC on August 21st, 2018

While we’re very patiently waiting for Shenmue III, the Shenmue I & II re-release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC is seemingly  coming along pretty well and finally has a solid release date: August 21st, 2018.

The Dreamcast classic isn’t quite getting the remaster or remake treatment and still looks decidedly Dreamcast-y, but for under $30 for both groundbreaking, beloved Sega titles bundled together, we’re okay with that. Those who are planning to pre-order from digital storefronts there’s currently a 10% discount.

Oh and we have a new pre-order trailer and a set of screens/box art too

Read on.

The re-release will contain all-new modernised features including fully scalable screen resolution, choice of modern or classic control schemes, PC graphics options, an updated user interface and the option to enjoy either the original Japanese or English voiceovers.
