Sony and Sucker Punch reveal Ghost of Tsushima for PS4

Finally, thanks to the Paris Games Week going on right now, Sucker Punch Productions and Sony fess up to what they’ve been working on for the past couple of years… and no, it’s not a new inFamous game.  Drum roll please: it’s an open world samurai action game set in feudal Japan by the name of Ghost of Tsushima, and it looks and sounds pretty damn awesome.

See some screens and the reveal trailer below. Hop on over to the PS Blog for the official announcement too.

Ghost of Tsushima – PGW 2017 Announce Trailer | PS4:

Watch the announce trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, a new game from Sucker Punch Productions.

The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan–until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But, honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting–the way of the Ghost–as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.
