Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age tops 1 million units worldwide

Gamers still love Final Fantasy, that’s for sure… especially retro remastered releases on the PS4 such as Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age.  In our review, we had plenty of great things to say about the remaster, so we’d like to think we helped a little bit.

So, Square Enix this morning revealed that Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age has surpassed 1 million units shipped via retail, and sold via the PlayStation Store.  That’s pretty damn impressive.

To celebrate, Square Enix released a new illustration by environmental artist Isamu Kamikokuryo (as seen below) along with a Remastered Cinematic Trailer, also embedded below.  Take a look.

SQUARE ENIX today announced that the worldwide shipments and digital sales of the recently released FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE have exceeded one million units.

Since the title?s release in July 2017, the world of Ivalice has been reborn for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, introducing a multitude of modern advancements including remastered HD graphics, soundtrack, a revamped battle system and more.

?Thank you to all the fans for helping us reach this milestone,? said Producer Hiroaki Kato. ?We are overwhelmed with the response from both new players and fans of the original.?

To commemorate the milestone, a brand-new illustration by acclaimed environmental artist Isamu Kamikokuryo was released.
