Yes, Call of Duty: WWII has a story… and it’s looking pretty epic

Believe it or not, some of us still play Call of Duty for the damn story.  And with something like Call of Duty: WWII, we have high hopes that Activision and Sledgehammer Games will have an epic wartime tale to tell, since there’s a lot of history to fall back on and all.

Well just yesterday we got a sneak peek at the single player campaign’s story in the form of a trailer as you can see below. And yeah, it is looking both dramatic and epic thus far.

Call of Duty: WWII hits the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 3rd, 2017.

Official Call of Duty: WWII – Story Trailer:

Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald ?Red? Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the H?rtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany. The journey begins on November 3.
