PlayStation E3 2017 Media Showcase wrap-up

Sony’s PlayStation E3 2017 Media Showcase (and the pre-show) was pretty darn solid this year, and it was totally about the games.  From a gorgeous Shadow of the Colossus remaster, to the new God of War, to Insomniac’s stunning Spider-Man, there’s was a lot to be excited about.  Sure, many games are hitting in 2018, but at least we were impressed with what we saw. There were no massive surprises, just a lot of high quality looking experiences, mostly.

Other games on display were Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Gran Turismo Sport, Detroit: Becoming Human, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn – The Frozen Wilds DLC, Hidden Agenda, Matterfall and seemingly dozens of others, all for for the PS4.  Third parties were on hand to show off Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny, Monster Hunter: World and Ni No Kuni II.

There was actually a really nice selection of PlayStation VR titles as well including Superhot VR, Star Child, Bravo Team, Polyarc,The Inpatient, Skyrim VR, Moss, Sparc, Monster of the Deep for Final Fantasy XV and more.

See the showcase replay, and check back for Sony’s official press release.
