Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero revealed as Injustice 2 DLC fighters

With most of the regular Injustice 2 roster pretty much revealed at this point, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have started showing off some of the DLC characters as well.

Today, we get confirmation of Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero making an appearance in the game as part of the Official Injustice 2 – Fighter Pack 1 DLC, which is still in development and will be released after the game’s launch for those with the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition versions.  There’s no word on a Season Pass or a la carte offering of the new DLC yet.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showcasing the first three DLC characters for Injustice 2 ? Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Players will be able to battle it out with these iconic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilize their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition or the Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition.  Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning May 16. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero are still in development and will be available for download after the game launches.

The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition will include a total of nine playable characters; three Premiere Skins that transform select fighters into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue; and two exclusive new Gear Shaders that enable players to customize the look of their roster with alternate color themes.  The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition is available for pre-order now for $99.99.

The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will include Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero as playable characters; a Premiere Skin and an exclusive Gear Shader. The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order via PSN and the Xbox Store for $79.99.
