Jak & Daxter PS2 Classics confirmed for a PS4 release

Even though there is a Jak & Daxter Collection for the PS3 (which never made its way to the PlayStation Now service) there’s actually no way to play any of the Jak & Daxter games on a PS4 console… but that will all change later this year.

Sony today revealed that all the classic PS2 J&D titles, including Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and the extra great Jak X: Combat Racing, are headed to the PS4 as enhanced PS2 releases. The digital releases will launch individually and include up-rendered 1080p visuals, Trophy support and other niceties.

See a couple screens and an announce trailer for the games below. Hop on over to the PS Blog for additional details.
