PlayStation Vue expands to Apple TV beginning today

Sony’s excellent internet-based TV service, PlayStation Vue, is finally expanding onto Apple TV devices. Slowly but surely PS Vue is working its way outside the Sony device ecosystem, and Apple TV seems like the most obvious next move.

Those who subscribe can grab the app right now and start streaming and using the PlayStation Vue Cloud DVR and all that. There’s also a free trial available for new users.

PlayStation Vue is expanding to Apple TV today, bringing a lineup of top live TV programing to the popular TV streaming device. PlayStation Vue on Apple TV (4thgeneration) provides viewers with a better live TV experience, offering PlayStation Vue’s unique streaming features, such as simultaneous streaming and cloud DVR with no recording conflicts, and no long-term contract commitments.  Users will be able to take advantage of Apple TV’s Siri Remote and easy navigation with touch, while enjoying PlayStation Vue’s sleek look and feel.

PlayStation Vue provides access to popular live TV programming, from sports networks like ESPN and NFL Network, to premium channels like AMC, FX, HBO and more, all in one easy-to-use service. Users with an existing PlayStation Vue account can link their subscription to Apple TV and start streaming right away. New users can sign up for one of several plan options through the PlayStation Vue website and link their subscription to Apple TV, without the need of a PlayStation console. A seven-day free trial is available to new PlayStation Vue customers.
