Xbox One S 2TB console set to launch on August 2nd

The limited edition 2TB Xbox One S console finally has a release date, and that’s officially August 2nd.

According to Microsoft, the more deluxe of the Xbox One S SKUs will be available in select regions beginning on August 2nd for $399.99, though would-be buyers can still pre-order the console at a number of retailers including Amazon and the Microsoft Store.

The Xbox One S configurations with the smaller HDDs (500GB, 1TB) will ship out a bit later, though Microsoft has yet to make those dates official.  The Gears of War 4 Limited Edition Xbox One S Bundle will hit in October as revealed last week.

Head on over to Major Nelson’s for the latest info.
