Batman – The Telltale Series to premiere on August 2nd

Telltale Games and Batman fans rejoice! The five-part, Batman episodic adventure series is scheduled to launch digitally across all platforms in exactly 2 weeks.  Those holding out for a retail Season Pass product will need to chill out until September 13th however.

The first episode (titled “Realm of Shadows”) of the comic-styled new Batman title will officially premiere on August 2nd on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the PC/Mac and mobile devices.  The voice talent they’ve put together is quite solid, so we’re hoping the writing does the property justice.

The series will also be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13th in North America as a special Season Pass Disc, which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16th.
