Nintendo unveils The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

[Update: screens and art!]

Nintendo’s E3 presence this year is, to put it charitably, somewhat more sparse than in years past, but that didn’t mean they went into the conference with nothing. In fact, for anyone that’s been waiting awhile for a new entry in the Legend of Zelda series, they may have even had the E3 trump card: a trailer and a name for the next Legend of Zelda game.

The name: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As Nintendo has stated before, it releases next year on both Wii U and their next-gen console, the as-yet-unnamed NX.
