Once again set in the DC Universe, the well-timed, super-powered fighting sequel looks and sounds pretty great so far. Infusing gear and character customization/personalization into the fighting experience, NeatherRealm is definitely looking to do something a little different than past releases.
As for characters, the roster looks to include Batman, Superman, Supergirl, The Flash, Aquaman, Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd, among others. More of the DC Comics lineup will surely be revealed at the E3 and beyond, but at least we have an official trailer to kick off the hype train.
Injustice 2 is scheduled for a 2017 release for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Injustice 2, the super-powered sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The newest game in development from the award-winning NetherRealm Studios features a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and allows players to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters. Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One in 2017.
