Google Maps gets into the The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD spirit

Just in time to promote the Wii U release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Nintendo has teamed up with Google for a little Google Maps fun.

If you hit up the browser version of Maps, you may see a familiar little character here and there helping users to navigate around. Spoiler alert: It’s Link. See a shot of him guiding us to Nintendo’s new NY Store above.

Head on over to Google Maps to try it for yourself.

In the spirit of adventure and exploration, Google Maps is offering some hidden surprises that any legendary adventurer will love. Just log in to the browser version of Google Maps and a familiar hero will guide you through all your journeys through perilous dungeons. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD also launches today exclusively for Wii U. If you grow weary of your trials in the real world you can escape to the Twilight Realm with the Wolf Link amiibo by your side.

Have fun exploring!
