Pokk?n Tournament hits the Wii U on March 18th

Are you ready to rumble Pok?mon fans and Wii U owners?

Pokk?n Tournament, Bandai Namco’s hard hitting Pok?mon arcade fighting game, has an official March 18th release date for the Wii U in North America. Those who pick up the game within the launch window will get a Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card which can be used to unlock Shadow Mewtwo within the game.

Remember, like pretty much all upcoming videogame releases, Pokk?n Tournament is 20% off at Amazon for Prime members.

Oh and Pok?mon Red Version, Pok?mon Blue Version and Pok?mon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition will hit the 3DS eShop for $9.99 to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary on February 27th.

Pokk?n Tournament, the upcoming game that lets players battle as prized Pok?mon in fighting arenas, will launch exclusively for Wii U on March 18 at a suggested retail price of $59.99. Pokk?n Tournament brings high-definition game play and over-the-top action to never-before-seen battles between some of the most recognizable Pok?mon characters. People that buy the first production run version of the game will also receive a special Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, which can be tapped to the Wii U GamePad controller to unlock the Shadow Mewtwo playable character in the game.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Japanese launch of the Pok?mon franchise, the original Pok?mon games (Pok?mon Red Version and Pok?mon Blue Version, as well as Pok?mon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition) will be available as digital downloads in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 27 for $9.99 each. That same day, Nintendo will also launch a New Nintendo 3DS Pok?mon 20thAnniversary bundle that includes the New Nintendo 3DS system, two Pok?mon-themed cover plates (one featuring Charizard and one with Blastoise), an exclusive Pok?mon HOME Menu theme and bothPok?mon Red Version and Pok?mon Blue Version pre-installed on the system. The bundle will hit stores on Feb. 27 at a suggested retail price of $199.99. That?s a lot of Pok?mon goodness!
