Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8, Kingdom Hearts III get new footage from Jump Festa 2015

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8Over the weekend Square Enix provided a little update on the super-awkwardly titled enhanced Kingdom Hearts compilation for the PS4, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, in the form of a 5 minute new video. For those who are just waiting for Kingdom Hearts III though they smartly snuck in a little battle footage for that too.

The newly released trailer features scenes from KH 0.2 Birth by Sleep ? A Fragmentary Passage and Dream Drop Distance, along with the a clip from the Kingdom Hearts ? [chi] Back Cover movie which is also included in 2.8 HD. And there’s a little bit of Kingdom Hearts III as mentioned above.

At Jump Festa 2015 in Japan, SQUARE ENIX and Disney Interactive revealed a new trailer for KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which also introduces new battle footage from KINGDOM HEARTS III.

The KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue trailer highlights exciting and memorable moments from the compilation, including all-new scenes from the playable episode KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep ? A Fragmentary Passage, the HD movie KINGDOM HEARTS ? [chi] Back Cover, as well as HD remastered gameplay of KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance, brought to a high-definition console for the first time .

The KINGDOM HEARTS III gameplay footage gives viewers a glimpse of the relentless waves of Heartless and other magical foes that oppose the trio as they traverse the KINGDOM HEARTS universe. The group must draw on their combined powers to be successful – including special Attraction Flow attacks based on popular theme park rides.
