Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor will fight to be UFC 2’s co-cover athlete

Remember when EA proudly revealed that Ronda Rousey would be one of the UFC 2 cover-athletes… and then she lost a couple of days later? Yeah, that sucked.

Anyway, EA Sports today announced that Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor will be duking it in UFC 194 for the featherweight championship, to not only take home the win, but to also secure a spot alongside Ronda as UFC 2’s co-cover athlete. With both potential cover-athletes taking on each other, maybe the “EA Sports/Madden curse” cancels itself out… right?

EIther way, the bout takes place on December 12th in Las Vegas, so we’ll find out then. Fans can try to predict the outcome right here:  UFC.com/EASPORTS
