Star Wars: Battlefront beta coming this October

EA announced today that a beta is indeed planned for the upcoming release of Star Wars: Battlefront, and should hit Xbox One, PS4, and Origin on PC in early October. The beta will feature a 40-man battle called “Walker Assault on Hoth”, featuring the Rebel and Empire factions, along with playable versions of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.

The beta also features the horde-like “Survival Mission on Tatooine”, along with a previously unannounced mode called Drop Zone. EA plans to release more info on both Drop Zone and the upcoming beta in the coming weeks. Check in with the official site here for more info.
