Those who pre-order the game from, the PlayStation Store will get not only a static game theme but also access to the Goolden Axe weapon for Yangus.

The new “King Doric’s Royal Overview” gameplay trailer, embedded below, shows off about 5 minutes of narrated RPG action. We also have a healthy set of new screens directly below as well.

Get your hands on Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below on October 13th.

SQUARE ENIX today released a brand-new gameplay trailer for DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, preparing players for the perilous journey that awaits when the game launches on October 13.

The King Doric’s Royal Overview Trailer, narrated by the humble king himself, arms viewers with the character strategies, in-game shopping tips and alchemic knowledge needed to triumph over the hordes of monsters driven mad by a mysterious curse. Equipped with Doric’s advice on customizing, strategizing and forming the ultimate team for any situation, players can prepare to take down the swarms of formidable foes that lie ahead.

Those who pre-order DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below through the PlayStation store will also receive a PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system static wallpaper theme and special in-game weapon for Yangus, the Goolden Axe.

The game will also include all extra downloadable content previously released in the Japanese version for free. Fans can play as the villainous manslayer, Psaro, and explore the personal stories of other DRAGON QUEST heroes at launch. The title will also feature both English and Japanese voice over options, giving fans the freedom to choose the audio track catered to their experience.

DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will be available for the PlayStation?4 system on October 13, 2015 in North America for $59.99. The Day One Edition, including 5 in-game items, is available for $59.99 at all participating retailers. The Slime Collector?s Edition is available for $99.99 and will feature a premium treasure chest-style box containing exclusive physical items and downloadable content is available for pre-order through the Square Enix Online Store.
