The Force is strong in these Star Wars Limited Edition PS4 hardware bundles

Sony is going all-in this season with Disney and Star Wars in advance of the launch of new Star Wars-inspired games, and of course, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

During Disney’s big D23 expo over the weekend, SCEA revealed a Limited Edition Star Wars PS4 and DualShock 4 that will come bundled in a pair of new hardware bundles this fall.

The Darth Vader-styled 500GB console and controller have some interesting visual touches for Star Wars fans as you can see in the gallery below.  The Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle features the LE console alongside a copy of Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition and a voucher for a pair of 4 classic, newly enhanced, Star Wars games: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

The Walmart-exclusive Limited Edition Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars PS4 Bundle includes Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Edition PlayStation Exclusive Hardware Bundle Kit in place of Battlefront.

Announcing The Star Wars Limited Edition PlayStation 4:

Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) announced two PlayStation 4 (PS4) Star Wars bundles coming this holiday. The limited edition bundles launch on November 17 (pre-orders starting soon), alongside the release of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront. Both feature a PS4 system and DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller inspired by Darth Vader. The fully customized PS4 features an image of Darth Vader, as well as a repeated Star Wars logo across the top of the system. The Darth Vader edition DUALSHOCK 4 is inspired by Darth Vader?s chest panel and features the repeated Star Wars logo on its touchpad.

Adding even more value, both bundles will also include a digital voucher to download four classic Star Wars games ? Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. All four titles are playable on PS4 for the first time and will feature trophy-support for the first time, as well as enhanced graphics.
