Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection arriving for PS4 in October

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise — not least because Sony accidentally leaked the news themselves last night — but now it’s been confirmed: you won’t have to wait until next year to play as Nathan Drake on PS4, because Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection arrives on the system this October.

October 9th, to be precise. The Collection will include the first three games in the series — Uncharted: Drake?s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake?s Deception — and, according to a Naughty Dog post on the PlayStation Blog, will feature “1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, and models, but also adding a range of improvements and additions across all three games including Photo Mode and new trophies”. Anyone who buys the game will also get access to a Beta version of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer.

More details will surely be coming at E3 in a few weeks, but in the meantime, if you want to get hyped — without seeing any gameplay — then check out the trailer below!
