Harmonix reveals Rock Band 4 for PS4, Xbox One

After dropping more than a couple of hints recently, Harmonix, in conjunction with Mad Catz, has finally fessed up… Rock Band 4 is officially in development and headed to the PS4 and Xbox One later this year.

The next-generation of Rock Band titles is not a reboot or a remaster, but will apparently offer up a whole new Rock Band experience. Harmonix thankfully confirmed that all previously purchased DLC will carry over, which is awesome.

Mad Catz will be developing and manufacturing the new instrument controllers which include a Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller, a Wireless Drum Kit Controller and a Microphone.  Instruments will be made available in a Band-in-a-Box Bundle that includes the game and all of the controllers and a Guitar Bundle.
