PSN members get 10% PS Store discount, PS Plus extension this weekend

To make up for that little Lizard Squad-induced PlayStation Network service outage around the holidays, Sony is giving all PSN members 10% off on whatever they purchase via the PlayStation Store from this upcoming Friday 1/23 through Monday 1/26 at 9am.

With only a few exceptions on subscriptions and video rentals, the 10% promotion can be used on your entire PlayStation Store cart including game pre-orders [Sony apparently misspoke[. Items can be purchased via a console or the web and mobile stores, so there’s no real excuse not to use your discount.

Sony also has started to roll out the 5 day PlayStation Plus extension for those who were PS Plus members during the downtime.

Head on over to the official PS Blog for the official details.
