PlayStation Experience: Severed arriving on the Vita

Drinkbox Studios showed off their newest game at the PlayStation Experience, and early indications suggest it’s every bit as colourful and unique as their previous games, Guacamelee! and the Tales From Space series.

Entitled Severed, the game’s style will be familiar to anyone who’s played Guacamelee! Gameplay-wise, it takes advantage of the Vita’s touchscreens, with Drinkbox writing on the PlayStation Blog that the players will “be using touch based mechanics to employ offensive and defensive techniques against a variety of enemies.” We’ll probably find more out about what exactly that means before the game comes out in Spring 2015, but in the meantime, you can check out some screenshots and a trailer below!
