Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny are top two selling console titles of 2014

Based on the most recent sales figures, Activision franchises are really cleaning up this year. Thanks to the one-two punch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny, the company has secured the #1 and #2 spots on the retail console sales charts for all of 2014.

Destiny also was the top new video game franchise of the year (through November), and the company also confirmed that Skylanders Trap Team and its menagerie of figures scored the “#1 kids video game franchise of the year” position.
