Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin confirmed for PS4, Xbox One

Dark Souls victims, your prayers have been answered… an expanded and enhanced version of Dark Souls II is officially headed to the PS4 and Xbox One (and PS360) on April 7th, 2015.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin for the PS4 and Xbox One will include “updated visuals, rebalanced gameplay, a higher maximum number of players for online play, new and deadlier enemies, a brand new NPC to discover, expanded lore, and new in-game events”.  It will also include the trio of available DLC:  Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King .

The last generation version of Scholar of the First Sin will also feature the bundled DLC along with updates including the additional NPC, expanded story, in-game events as well as improved gameplay balance and online matchmaking functionality. Those who already own a copy of the PS3 or Xbox 360 game will receive the game update (minus the DLC) for free in an upcoming title update.
