Driveclub PS Plus Edition, companion app delayed due to server issues

It’s a sad day at the club… the Driveclub that is.  After enjoying a solid week of team-based racing action in advance of our review, Evolution Studios announced this morning that they had to delay the rollout of the free Driveclub PS Plus Edition game and the Android/iOS companion app.

The game, which relies on constant online connectivity for the full experience, was apparently bringing the Driveclub servers to its knees soon after yesterday’s launch. So to lighten the load while they work out the kinks they decided to take the apps and free version offline.

The official Driveclub Facebook announcement is below.  Make sure to keep an eye on their Twitter feed and FB page for the latest status updates.
