Beyond confirmation that the Xbox One will indeed be able to render the game at a native 1080p (via patch) and that gamers will be able to transfer saves across platforms, Blizzard, Sony and Microsoft have confirmed that the console versions will include patch support like the PC version. In other words, as compared to what they were previously able to do on a console, they’ll have the ability to push out more timely game updates to help keep parity with the PC version.
So if you needed another reason to check it out when it hits the consoles on August 19th, there it is.
