For a $4.99/month or $29.99/year, EA Access grants access to The Vault, which provides users with free games — FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 for now, with more coming soon. Being a member also provides a 10% discount on all digital EA content purchased through the Xbox Games Store.
Additionally, EA Access allows subscribers to check out full game trials of select titles up to 5 days in advance of their release dates. These will include Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
We’re not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, so we’ll have to see what most other gamers think. The EA Access program is only for the Xbox One for now, but we can see EA expanding it if it does well.

The service is being rolled out in beta to a limited number of players today, but it will launch for everyone on Xbox One soon. EA Access membership unlocks The Vault, a collection of EA?s biggest games on Xbox One ready for you to download and play. You can join EA Access for just $4.99 per month, or you can purchase an annual membership for $29.99 per year on Xbox LIVE.
Soon, fans of GameStop will be able to purchase their EA Access membership in local retail stores. GameStop and Amazon will also carry EA Access memberships for Xbox One gamers across Europe, as well as EB Games in Canada.
