Magical new Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX screens to start the weekend

We certainly loved  Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX for the PS3, so we’re pretty excited for the enhanced re-release of Kingdom Hearts II, also coming to the PS3.

Today, Square Enix announced a few more Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX details, confirmed release date of “later this year” and sent over some new screens too.

For the first time, the FINAL MIX versions of KINGDOM HEARTS II and KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep will be making their way to North America. KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX allows players to have Sora go head-to-head with Roxas at the Station of Awakening. Players will also have access to secret boss battles, new weapons, abilities, mini-games and additional cutscenes that help explain the story of KINGDOM HEARTS.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX also includes HD remastered cinematics from KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded, the game that sent Sora on an adventure in the digital world . Sora, Riku and the rest of the characters of the beloved franchise will come to life later this year, with cutscenes and battles recreated from scratch for this gorgeous HD remastered collection for the PlayStation?3 computer entertainment system.
