GameCube controllers will work with Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Wii U owners and Super Smash Bros. fans, dust off those old GameCube controllers ’cause Nintendo has some great news for you.

Via their official Twitter, Nintendo of America has revealed that will be releasing a GameCube controller adapter that will allow Super Smash Bros. gamers to play the game with what may be their controller of choice. The adapter features 4 GCN controller ports for authentic local 4-player SSB action.

There’s no word or price or availability as of yet, but we’re guessing that it’ll be a must have accessory for any serious Super Smash Bros. fan.
