Jet Car Stunts jumping onto PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, PC this spring

Grip Games, True Axis and bitComposer Entertainment are apparently hard at work on releasing their racing/platformer hybrid Jet Car Stunts for consoles and the PC.

Looking like a weird combination of Virtua Racing and GripShift, Jet Car Stunts has been confirmed for the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and PC. We’re expecting plenty of stunts, speed and style when it hits digital services in Q2 of this year.

Check out the game in action in the announcement trailer and screens below.

Read on for the announcement.

Grip Games, a privately owned developer and publisher of games for game consoles and high-end portable devices, together with True Axis Pty. Ltd and bitComposer Entertainment AG, announced today it will launch Jet Car Stunts, a racing/platformer hybrid game for the PlayStation 3 system, PlayStation Vita system, PlayStation 4 system, Xbox 360 and PC as a downloadable game throughout North and South America, Europe and other territories this spring.

In Jet Car Stunts the players control a Jet Car ? the combination of a formula racing car and a jet plane that lets them perform nearly impossible gravity-defying stunts, like driving through loops, jumping over incredible distances, corkscrew maneuvers, drifting near the edge of the racing track, ? all of that in supersonic speed, miles above the ground.

Jet Car Stunts is a million-selling franchise developed by True Axis Pty. Ltd. and one of the highest-rated racing games of all time. Grip Games is developing a brand new version of the popular game, with next-gen graphics, new cars, new tracks, new game modes, asynchronous multiplayer experience and gamepad support.

?We are proud to be able to work on one of the best indie games ever made and be able to bring it to the console and PC players. While substantially improving the game, we make sure that all the things that made Jet Car Stunts great ? the art style, the adrenaline rush, the crashes and the obsessive need to improve your times again and again are still the core of the experience?, said Jakub Mikyska, Co-CEO of Grip Games.

Jet Car Stunts will be released in Q2 2014. For more information, please visithttp://www.grip-games.com/games/jet-car-stunts/.
