CastleStorm – Definitive Edition, KickBeat – Special Edition coming to PS4, Xbox One

KickBeat Special Edition 2KickBeat Special Edition 2In somewhat unsurprising GDC news from Zen Studios, the Definitive Edition and Special Edition of CastleStorm and KickBeat respectively are in the works for the PS4 and Xbox One. The studio has also announced that Pinball FX2 will finally be headed to the Xbox One thanks to the ID@Xbox indie program.

CastleStorm – Definitive Edition, KickBeat – Special Edition will be visually enhanced and include new content, modes and features. Both titles are expected to be released in the next few months.

Zen Studios is proud to announce their slate of upcoming titles for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, via ID@Xbox and PlayStation 4.

Pinball FX2, CastleStorm ? Definitive Edition, and KickBeat ? Special Edition will release on Xbox One in the coming months. CastleStorm ? Definitive Edition will be playable at the ID@Xbox Showcase on Tuesday, March 18th.

Pinball FX2 has been a staple in the digital download space for the past 4 years and was the bestselling game on Xbox Live Arcade in 2011. Zen Studios remains deeply committed to releasing new pinball tables based on amazing themes like Marvel, Star Wars and Plants vs. Zombies. Zen Studios has secured new, unannounced IPs that will make their way to Xbox One this year. These new tables will also release for Zen Pinball 2 on PlayStation 4.

Super-genre mashup CastleStorm ? Definitive Edition is invading Xbox One and PlayStation 4, featuring brand new content from its original installment which released in May of 2013. New battles, modes, spells and features are being added to the experience.

Finally, kung-fu themed rhythm fighter KickBeat gets a Special Edition for its release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. New features, additional soundtracks and other enhancements are being added to the original campaign. KickBeat ? Special Edition offers players several innovative ways to interact with music. The game combines beat-matching mechanics with an acrobatic style of martial arts, turning every song into a raucous battle. The game also features a music analyzer that allows players to create new tracks from their own music libraries.

Players can expect additional news on all three titles in the coming months.
