New gameplay media, details for The Order 1886 for PS4

Thanks to a brand new pair of trailers and some updated screens this morning, we finally get a fresh look at Ready at Dawn’s first PlayStation 4 project, The Order 1886.

Set in in old-timey, alternative version of Victorian-era London and featuring a unique blend of cinematic visuals and cover-based shooting gameplay, The Order 1886 is looking like a fantastic new IP for the new platform.

The new 2 minute “The Pledge” trailer and 10 minute gameplay & info video dig a bit deeper into the game’s story and game details. We have some screens too.

For centuries, an order of knights have stood against an inhuman foe that had sought to extinguish mankind. Now, in the year 1886, armed with new weapons & technology, these operatives must face this ancient enemy on the streets of London where rebellion and anarchy threaten an already unstable peace.

The Order 1886 is currently set for a Q3 2014 release on the PS4.
