Suction power isn’t anything new, but in the 2000’s you wouldn’t have been surprised to see a few characters brandishing some kind of “Vac-Pack”, from Luigi’s Mansion to Blinx the Timesweeper. Ratchet brought with him a suction gun, which lost a lot of points out of the gate for its typical “gun” design. Popular opinion may not agree that Blinx wore it better, but at least his TS-1000 Vacuum Cleaner wasn’t a quick imitation of something the Ghostbusters were using decades ago.
