Pok?mon the Series: XY debuts January 18th on Cartoon Network

There’s a whole lot of Pok?mon coming our way in the very near future, and not just in videogame or card game form.

Cartoon Network is setting up the debut of the new Pok?mon the Series: XY series by airing 2 classic Pok?mon movies and an animated special in early January. That of course leads up to Ash and friends’ latest adventure on January 18th.

Dates and times for the movies and special, as well as the debut of Pok?mon the Series: XY, are listed below:

  • Pok?mon: The First Movie is making its digitally remastered return on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. Reunite with old friends, Misty and Brock, and battle familiar enemies, Mewtwo and Giovanni!
  • On Saturday, January 11, 2014, catch the animated special, Pok?mon: Mewtwo?Prologue to Awakening, airing at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. It?s the prequel to Pok?mon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened that follows at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT.
  • Join Ash and friends as they embark on their new adventure in the Kalos region in the much anticipated season premiere of Pok?mon the Series: XY on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT.
