Halo: Spartan Assault blasts onto Xbox One on Christmas Eve

Halo: Spartan Assault, the 343 Industries-produced mobile Halo twin-stick shooter, is making its way onto the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the very near future.

The visually enhanced, top-down action game is set to grace the Xbox One on Christmas Eve (December 24th) and will feature 1080p/60fps visuals, a new co-op mode, new weapons, and the Operation Hydra DLC for $14.99. The Xbox 360 version will launch in January.

For those who own a Windows Phone or Windows 8 and already own a copy of the game, Halo: Spartan Assault will only cost $4.99.

Take a gander at a trio of screens along with a release date trailer.
