Official PS4 manual and PlayStation App for Android & iOS now live

It’s happening! Sony just a short time ago released the official PlayStation App for Android and iOS devices (via the Google Play Store and App Store respectively). It’s a relatively simple looking app and still uses a web wrapper for certain functions at the moment, but it seems snappy on my Nexus 7 so far.

The app currently provides users with the ability to connect to a PS4, send and receive messages, view and manage PSN friends list, browse through trophies, check out user profiles and stay up to date with notifications. The Trophy rarity feature appears to be live as well.

Sony also launched the online manual for the PlayStation 4, so make sure to flip through that if you’re looking to know anything in particular.
